About Blue Epiphany Vineyards
In 2017 James Barber had an epiphany. The time was right to leave a career in law enforcement with Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and pursue a dream. Through planning, hard work, and creativity Blue Epiphany Vineyards was born. Our logo features the thin blue line in the center, as well as a five point star reminiscent of the star worn by deputies. Jack Solomon, Chris Dowell, Frank Mitchell, and Jonathon Roach joined to help create Conroe’s first winery.
James, Chris, and Jack all worked for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in the Patrol Division for many years before entering the wine industry. The winery was founded in 2017 and continues to bring fine wine, food, and music to the North Houston / Conroe area.
Blue Epiphany's focus is providing high-quality fine wines using old-world winemaking techniques. We continue to learn from some of the best in the industry in order to provide the best wine drinking experience.
Blue Epiphany planted its first vineyard in 2018 with expansion scheduled for 2019. As our baby vines continue to grow, we are working with some of the best vineyards in Texas and California where we source some outstanding fruit.
